Privacy Policy

The short version

Just Tides does not collect, store, or share your personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no trackers.

Location

If you grant location access, Just Tides uses your location only on your device to find the nearest tide station. Your location is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and it is not stored or linked to your identity. You can use the app without granting location access by choosing a station manually.

Tide data

Tide predictions are retrieved from the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). These requests contain only the identifier of the tide station you are viewing — no personal information about you.

Purchases

Optional in-app tips are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment information. Tips support development and do not unlock features or provide any physical or digital goods.

Analytics and tracking

Just Tides contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and we do not track you across apps or websites.

Children

Just Tides does not collect any data and is suitable for all ages.
