Privacy Policy

The short version

Accrue does not collect, store, or share your personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no trackers. The app makes no network requests at all — there is no networking code in it.

What you type

Accrue is a calculator. The daily gain, the starting amount, the contribution and the term you enter are worked out on your device and stay there. Nothing is transmitted to us or to anyone else, and the app behaves identically in airplane mode.

It remembers what you left in it — the figures, the time scale you chose, and whether the breakdown table was open — along with your light or dark preference. That is kept in the app’s own settings storage on your phone, is never transmitted, and is deleted when you delete the app.

No market data

Accrue does not fetch prices, rates, or any other market information. Every figure it shows is arithmetic on the numbers you typed. It does not know what you own, what you trade, or where you invest, because it never asks and has no way to find out.

Purchases

The optional tips in Settings are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment information. Tips support development and unlock nothing — every feature of the app is free, and there is nothing to buy that changes what it does.

Analytics and tracking

Accrue contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and we do not track you across apps or websites. The app’s privacy manifest declares no collected data types and no tracking domains.

Children

Accrue collects no data from anyone. It is a calculator.

Not financial advice

Accrue projects one arithmetic scenario: a constant gain, compounded. It is not investment advice, not a forecast, and not a claim that any rate is achievable — a rate held every day without exception is not how markets behave. The figures are for understanding compounding, not for making decisions with.
